SUMMARY
We aim to help Caddis expand their product offerings and customer reach by building a media company called Humongous Living. Our vision for HL is to be a leading publishing company that sparks meaningful conversations and drives social change by challenging ageism. We strive to be a trusted platform that hosts thought-provoking podcast shows, featuring diverse voices and perspectives, to inspire individuals of all ages to redefine societal perceptions about aging. As a subbrand of Caddis, we aim to create a positive impact on people's lives by promoting age-inclusive attitudes and empowering individuals to live their best lives at any age.

challenge
Designing a brand extension takes considerable time and effort. Through rigorous research, our team developed ideas that we believed would be most beneficial to Caddis. By firstly conducting extensive competitor and customer research, we developed a strong understanding of who Caddis customers are. Along the way, we proposed multiple expansion plans and settled on designing a podcast that would branch out from a media company. We believed creating a podcast was the best decision for Caddis because of the growing podcast market. It was essential for us to use the podcast and media company platform to truly create a community centered around embracing one’s own age.
Outcome
The result of this project is a comprehensive strategy and set of essential guidelines for the Humongous Living media company. As final deliverables, our team has created a detailed presentation deck that includes a comprehensive marketing strategy, product expansion plan, and key highlights of the overall business operation. We created a website mockup for Humongous Living to demonstrate what it would look like and how users would interact with the platform. Additionally, we produced a pilot podcast episode featuring Sue Kaur, who shares her personal experience with ageism, specifically in the STEM field.
